1A Weightlifting State Champions at State House

Our 1A State Champion Weightlifting Team recently had the honor of visiting the State House to be recognized for their outstanding accomplishments this season. During their visit, the team was acknowledged by a local representative who congratulated the athletes and coaches on their hard work, dedication, and championship success. The recognition highlighted the commitment and perseverance that led the team to capture the state title and represent our school with pride. Team members had the opportunity to stand before state leaders as their achievements were celebrated in a special moment of recognition.

In addition to the ceremony, students enjoyed touring the State House, where they learned more about the history of the building and the important work that takes place there each day. The experience gave students a closer look at state government while also allowing them to celebrate a memorable milestone together.
