On Monday May 11th, the 1A Golf Championship featured strong competition from across the state, with Latta High School represented by five standout golfers who were selected based on their season averages from their twenty-one member team. Representing the team were (left to right) Carter Ivey, Carson Dailey, Heath Mew, Gunnar Collins, and Trenton Watson.
Competing against 20 teams from across the state, Latta earned a strong sixth-place overall finish. Individually, Trenton Watson delivered an outstanding performance, finishing tied for ninth place in a three-way tie among 81 golfers. Trenton's performance also earned him a place on the All-State Team.
In addition to his All-State recognition, Trenton Watson was named the region medalist and earned All-Region honors, capping off an exceptional season.
