This is a friendly reminder that Cell Phones/Electronic Devices must be kept in student's purse, book bag, or in the cell phone caddy located in the classroom at all times. Cell phones should not be in your pocket at any time.

Also, make sure you are abiding by the student dress code. Girls, your leggings must be worn with a top that is long enough to reach the thigh. Crop-tops revealing the midriff is unacceptable. Boys, your pants must be pulled up to your waist at all times.

All students participating in the Black History Program should meet in the EPAC Center on today at the beginning of fourth block to practice for the program second block on tomorrow.

Any 9-12th grade female student who would like to participate in the Miss Viking Pageant, please visit your "Class of" page to get the Miss Viking Google Classroom code for all the information. There will be a sign-up sheet in the front office until this Friday, February 20th. The pageant will be held on Saturday, March 14th with enough interest. If you have any questions, see Ms. Branham.

Any high school girl interested in playing volleyball next year will need to attend a meeting right after school in the gym lobby on Wednesday, February 18th. It will only take about 15 minutes. Please tell your ride to pick you up at 4:00 at the high school gym. This includes any girls currently playing softball, running track or any other school practices. Please let your coaches know you will be a little late to practice.

Any student interested in participating in the Latta's Got Talent show must attend an audition day on Wednesday, February 18 or Thursday, February 19 after school in the EPAC from 3:45-4:45. You only have to attend one day of auditions to participate in the show. Please see your "Class of" page for more details.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: The ASVAB sign up is in your Google Class Of. The ASVAB will be on March 5, 2026. You must sign up if you want to take the ASVAB.

Yearbooks are still on sale.

Don’t forget to get your car or truck registered! Remember, if you owe a fee, it must be paid before you can register your vehicle. Also, with prom quickly approaching, fees have to be paid in order for you to attend prom and participate in the running for Prom King or Prom Queen.

  • Tues., Feb. 17th: 1st Round Boys’ Basketball Playoff home against Scotts Branch Time: 6:00

Only a high school league pass will get you in the basketball playoff game for free!
