Per Coach Genesis Rogers, "the Lady Vikings made history Thursday night as they defeated Lake View 4–1 in a Region 6-A matchup, clinching Latta’s first region title in 10 years. With the win, Latta improves to 11–3 overall and remains undefeated in region play (10–0).
This group of young ladies has faced its share of adversity and early season setbacks, but those challenges have pushed us to grow stronger together. These girls have really learned how to lean on one another, and their commitment to improving their game every day has been impressive. While the region title marks our team’s first major goal accomplished this season, the Lady Vikings aren’t done yet. They now set their sights on finishing region play undefeated!"
